We are Andriy and Iryna —
the founders of the Mirey brand.
Our journey began back in 2008 in the city of Kharkiv. It all started with two old knitting machines, a garage and the first hand-knitted children's hats that we made ourselves to sell at the Barabashovo market.
By 2012, the small workshop had grown into a full-fledged knitwear factory, which later became one of the largest manufacturers of children's headwear in Ukraine. That same year, we introduced a computer embroidery service.
In 2018, a women's clothing line was launched — as a natural stage in the brand's development and an expansion of the product range in response to client demand.
From the very beginning, what mattered to us was not simply sewing or knitting clothes, but
creating quality pieces with attention to detail and care for those who would wear them.
This family approach to the craft — responsibility for every item and personal involvement in all processes — became the foundation of the Mirey brand philosophy.
In 2022, the business was forced to leave Kharkiv, which had become a frontline city. This was a difficult yet defining chapter in our story. We relocated to Uzhhorod and simultaneously carried out a rebranding and modernization of production: we updated our equipment and acquired additional knitting and linking machines, a rolling press for intermediate pressing, industrial washing and drying machines, as well as specialized equipment for the sewing workshop.
Today, Mirey factory operates in Uzhhorod in a B2B format: as a contract manufacturer of knitted garments on a toll manufacturing basis.
We source raw materials exclusively to each client's order, which allows us to flexibly adapt to our partners' needs, meet deadlines and maintain consistent quality at every stage of cooperation.
